Each box contains 64 practically indestructible blocks, each a cube of 1-3/4 inches, in six bright, non-toxic colors. Two sides are embossed. The set has 248 alphabet letters, 64 numerals (0 to 9), eight mathematical symbols, and 64 different pictures of birds and animals.

The box, also a cube about 8-1/2" on each side, is made of smooth-sanded maple, has two brass handles, and is ready to finish or leave as is.
